Hello, I have a W7 prof 64bit PC, installed all updates and work with StarMoney (9).
After the recommended update of the basic software to 7.2.5, the inserted reader is recognized 1x, the driver is installed and that's it.
When I start the test program, I get the message that no reader can be found.
There is an unknown device in the device manager. If I assign the driver manually, I get a message that the driver is up to date.
I have now installed the current basic software on a notebook (W7 prof 64bit) that has never seen the reader, plugg
192.168.1.254 ed the reader into the USB socket - the device or the driver is installed. If I look in the test program, exactly the same thing happens there as on the office PC. A second reader was used as an alternative - likewise. Shortly after being plugged in, the readers show firmware version 1.0.

The installation on the notebook was fixed "As administrator" because this was advised in a forum post.
I can rule out USB port errors, sticks and other devices work.
We can no longer get to the bank statements, what can you do? We are grateful for every tip / advice.
